Ransom Reynolds

Ransom Reynolds was raised in
California but fell in love with New Mexico while attending Colorado
College where he received his Bachelor degree. In 1970, following
service in the Marine Corps, Ransom joined his father-in-law Bill Hunker
in real estate in Santa Fe at Bishop, Manuel & Hunker, Inc., the
predecessor company to Reynolds Insurance, Inc.
Moving to the insurance side of the
Company, he graduated from the United States Fidelity & Guaranty
Insurance School in Baltimore, MD in 1972.
Ransom purchased Bishop, Manuel &
Hunker, Inc. in 1973. He had served on the board of the Independent
Insurance Agents of New Mexico and the board of Millers American
Insurance Company of Fort Worth. He received his CIC designation in
1981. Ransom was president and owner of Reynolds Insurance, Inc. and
Reynolds Financial Services, Inc. until his sudden death on July 18,
2007 .

Susan Phillips
|
Susan Phillips recently inherited Reynolds
Insurance, Inc. from her late husband, Ransom Reynolds. She brings
clinical, management, and customer service experience from over 18 years
at St. Vincent Regional Medical Center. Most recently she was the
Clinical Manager for Rehabilitation Services running two departments;
Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation and Arroyo Chamiso Pediatric
Rehabilitation.
Susan moved to Santa Fe in 1978 with a bachelor’s degree
in English. She worked in the advertising field for 8 years before
receiving her Master's degree in Exercise Physiology from the University
of New Mexico and beginning her career in health care. Now, her time,
energy and focus are working at Reynolds Insurance and continuing
Ransom's philosophy, mission and tradition of service.

Maryanne Cornell

Maryanne
Cornell moved to Santa Fe in 1985 and joined Reynolds
Insurance that year in personal insurance. In 1987 she moved into
business insurance which is now her specialty. With the assistance of
our Account Manager staff, Maryanne manages a large portion of the
business insurance at Reynolds. She is a licensed agent and continues
her insurance education by taking a wide variety of courses sponsored by CPCU, CIC and other organizations.

Jake Rodar
is a native New Mexican and attended the University of New Mexico. He
is a 2004 Graduate of The National Alliance Producer School and is
licensed in property & casualty and life & health insurance. He has a
proven track record of running successful business’ in New Mexico and
Texas. Jake oversees the operations of Reynolds Insurance Inc and
Reynolds Financial Services as well as working with new and existing
clients primarily in business insurance.

Christine Powell
|
Christine Powell is a native
Santa Fean. Her insurance career began in 1981, working for a local
insurance agency. Christine joined Reynolds Insurance in 1992.. In
2004 she left the insurance field to assist in running a staffing firm
that she co-owns. In 2007 Christine returned home to Reynolds
Insurance, where she is currently working in the Business Insurance
Department. Christine has approximately 25 years experience in Personal
& Business Insurance, and is a licensed agent. Christine is currently
an Ambassador with the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce, and currently
serves on the board for the Northern New Mexico Human Resource
Association.

Marilyn Lewis, moved to New
Mexico in 1997 from the Upper Midwest and brings 20 years of business

agent, a company underwriter, as the director for a large healthcare
organization and has also owned and operated her own business. Her
multi-faceted perspective makes her a valuable asset to business owners.

Vicki Gonzales

Vicki joined Reynolds Insurance in
2005 as our receptionist following 4 years in administration in the
Santa Fe public schools. She manages our reception area, phone and fax
systems, and all incoming and out going mail. Vicki's talent at

Nanette Lujan-Abeyta

Nanette Lujan-Abeyta was born
in Las Vegas, New Mexico, attended business school in Santa Fe in 1970
and moved to Santa Fe in 1971. Before coming to Reynolds Insurance in
2002, Nan spent 22 years in personal insurance including 4 years of
service in the New Mexico Department of Insurance. At Reynolds Nan
oversees the personal insurance of one-third of the clients of Reynolds
working on their home, auto and umbrella liability insurance. Nan is a
licensed NM Agent and an ACSR.
